Kyle Lyons
Kyle Lyons is entering her sixth season as head coach of the Western New England University field hockey program, having led the team to one of its most successful seasons in 2023 with a 14-5 record and a win over nationally ranked MIT. Under her leadership, the Golden Bears have consistently reached the CCC semifinals and produced numerous All-Conference and All-Region honorees. Lyons previously coached at Vermont and Bryant, mentoring multiple all-conference athletes, and played at the University of New Hampshire, where she was an All-American and helped lead her team to the NCAA Tournament. A Vermont native, she holds a psychology degree from UNH and brings over a decade of NCAA Division I experience to her role.

Michaela Birmingham
My name is Michaela Birmingham, and I’m excited to be joining MCU as a new trainer. I'm currently a student-athlete at Western New England University, where I play for the women’s ice hockey team. I'm majoring in Sport Management with a minor in Athletic Coaching, combining my passion for sports with my goal of helping athletes grow and succeed. I’m originally from Enfield, CT, and before college, I attended St. George’s School in Newport, RI.

Jack Turowsky
Jack Turowsky is a Division I midfielder at UMass Amherst and serves as the lead Lacrosse instructor at MCU, the premier training facility for elite athletes in Western Massachusetts. A member of the USA Men’s U18 Team, Jack brings top-level playing experience and a strong focus on player development. He trained as a multi-sport athlete at the Berkshire School where he also played hockey. At MCU, Jack leads all lacrosse programming with a focus on individual skill, positional training, and game IQ. Helping athletes prepare for the next level and beyond.
